Digging deep

This is all getting a bit old. Trying to keep a positive attitude but it is getting to me. The side affects from the treatments, the visits to the doctors, laying around all day and taking in the same old vanilla drinks are all getting the best of me. I am digging deep....very deep to get past these last stages.

Sorry to vent everyone but had to do it. Sitting at chemo treatment now and will regroup.

  1. Dear Ed,

Hang in there. You're a very strong person and I'm sure you are tolerating things better than most. Considering all that you are going through I'd be surprised if it didn't get to you. We're always thinking about you and looking forward to when you are in tip top shape again. I hope you can see the light at the end of the tunnel getting bigger and brighter. You're almost there. Take care my friend.

    Love,

  4. Right On Vent!!
You got to have the lows to appriciate the highs!! This sucks!! 5th chemo last Mon. Either I am getting use to the effects or they are not as bad. Can you get a different flavor or add flavoring to the drink? How about some Kaluha (sp?) Ha!

Again how lucky we are to have this treatment available to us!! To the brave souls who paved the way for the docs to get this right, God Bless them.

Hang in there kiddo and you can grumble and feel sorry for yourself, but put a time limit on it and "Snap Out of It!"

Hugs with a slap on the back of your head,

    Regina

  5. Hi Ed,
Been there, done that. I know how you feel. 7 Ensure bottles for me daily but I just pour it on my peg tube so I did not have to taste it.

Thanks for reaching out to your friends in a tough moment. I see how you have rebounded--you always did that in the hood and now is no different. Fight, fight, fight!

  12. Hey brother-You are doing great. It must be horribly frustrating to go through this process but you are making positive things happen. Vent away as we are here to listen and support you!! Gimme a holler when you are cruising through town so I can say hi.
